Miikka Rahkonen's late challenge caught a Kalsarit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miikka Rahkonen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Arvo Pyörälä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Elmo Lahtela took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Usko Myllylä to make any attempt to save it. After 15 played minutes Kalsarit got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Frenzel. Igor Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miikka Rahkonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kalsarit's Milosz Frenzel in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FCW's goalie prevented a goal. Miikka Rahkonen got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to FCW getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Miikka Rahkonen hit a great ball. Timo Luhtio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Usko Myllylä didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalsarit. If Milosz Frenzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute Aaron Uusitalo suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Kalsarit booed when FCW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvo Pyörälä didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FCW's Usko Myllylä got control of the ball when Timo Luhtio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elmo Lahtela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Usko Myllylä was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Elmo Lahtela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Usko Myllylä having to interfere. If Timo Luhtio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timo Luhtio got free with Usko Myllylä in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milosz Frenzel to strike the kick off in the second half. Usko Myllylä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsti Jokela in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FCW's zone, Milosz Frenzel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Usko Myllylä came out of the goal and Milosz Frenzel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, FCW's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Frenzel came free, but Usko Myllylä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Lasse Kuparinen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCW's supporters rose to their feet, but Lasse Kuparinen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Manex breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timo Luhtio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Usko Myllylä having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Elmo Lahtela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Milosz Frenzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCW's Usko Myllylä was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elmo Lahtela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FCW getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lasse Kuparinen hit a great ball. Kalsarit's Tero Siltavirta was substituted for Elmo Lahtela. FCW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Juhani Kyrönlahti kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Usko Myllylä came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Kalsarit's Milosz Frenzel. But to his dismay, Milosz Frenzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Timo Luhtio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tero Siltavirta in the 96th minute of play forced FCW's goalkeeper Usko Myllylä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, Tero Siltavirta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
