A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marcus Hjelm hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Fox in the 10th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Ritokylä's Elmo Timoska to fire away a dangerous shot which Yan Chong Sen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Chong Sen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ensio Kampman sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ritokylä booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Voitto Nyrhinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Chong Sen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikko Sairanen in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Toni Fabich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kari Nitti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ritokylä's Santos Hori got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Toni Fabich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Nitti having to interfere. Ritokylä's Kari Nitti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikhard Elomo in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Palloketut were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Toni Fabich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kari Nitti was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Mikko Sairanen kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Toni Fabich. Didi Fox took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan Chong Sen. Yan Chong Sen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 59th minute Didi Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Chong Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ritokylä's Kari Nitti got control of the ball when Heino Helkamo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute Palloketut were awarded a corner. Toni Fabich went to the cornerflag to take it. 69 minutes into the match, Ritokylä's goalkeeper Kari Nitti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Voitto Nyrhinen. Kari Nitti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikhard Elomo in the 74th minute. When Ritokylä's Ensio Kampman in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ensio Kampman in the 88th minute of play. Ensio Kampman kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Ritokylä got a freekick which was hit by Terho Valin. The Ritokylä supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palloketut's performance. The match ended with a win for Palloketut.
