Aemara Saad kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Ahlawy booed when Idfa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mostafa Amgad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Nasir Yasser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kareem Sameeh. Ahlawy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nasir Yasser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Mohammed Nader notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ahlawy's Kareem Sameeh. Kareem Sameeh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mohammed Nader took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kareem Sameeh. Kareem Sameeh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Ahlawy's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Nader came free, but Kareem Sameeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nasir Yasser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kareem Sameeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Idfa getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mohammed Nader hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monzer Osama to make the kick off. Idfa's Nasir Yasser got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohammed Nader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Nasir Yasser in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kareem Sameeh made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Nasir Yasser sent off a good shot on target. Mohammed Nader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kareem Sameeh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Monzer Osama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahlawy's Kareem Sameeh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Ahlawy from getting a goal against them. After 68 minutes of play, Idfa's Nasir Yasser made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kareem Sameeh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kareem Sameeh came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Idfa's Nasir Yasser. But to his dismay, Nasir Yasser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Saad Aebeed kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ahlawy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nasir Yasser was slow to take the kick. During this time Idfa's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Ahlawy's Kareem Sameeh got control of the ball when Nasir Yasser tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Ahlawy's goalkeeper Kareem Sameeh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohammed Nader. In the 96th minute, Nasir Yasser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Idfa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Idfa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
