Spectators: 9153 (Terracing: 6891, Seating: 2112, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Monzer Osama kicked off to start the match. Kareem Sameeh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hossam Fahmy in the 5th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ahlawy's Yousry Fareed threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monzer Osama, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monzer Osama in the 11th minute of play forced Barhm's goalkeeper Yousry Fareed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ahlawy getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Saad Aebeed hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Baher Mortada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kareem Sameeh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ahlawy's Kareem Sameeh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakeem Taher in the 22nd minute of play. Kareem Sameeh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baher Mortada, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Barhm's Yousry Fareed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monzer Osama in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monzer Osama in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yousry Fareed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hossam Fahmy took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kareem Sameeh. Kareem Sameeh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Barhm were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Baher Mortada made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ahlawy's Khalil Saleh seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Khalil Saleh the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ahlawy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Khalil Saleh had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kareem Sameeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baher Mortada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mowafak Adel's late challenge caught a Barhm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mowafak Adel helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Ahlawy got a freekick which was hit by Mowafak Adel. If Mowafak Adel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Abdel Masoud Othman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barhm's Hatem Zidan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hakeem Taher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kareem Sameeh having to interfere. Kareem Sameeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baher Mortada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Barhm's Baher Mortada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kareem Sameeh. Kareem Sameeh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When Ahlawy's Monzer Osama in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barhm's goalie prevented a goal. After 85 played minutes Barhm got a freekick which was hit by Hossam Fahmy. 89 minutes into the game, Farouk Fouad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ahlawy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barhm the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ahlawy's Farouk Fouad got a free kick in the 89th minute. Kareem Sameeh made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Hossam Fahmy sent off a good shot on target.
