Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kaera FC's Tambet Lauter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tambet Lauter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tauno Vaalma during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rouge fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Rouge:s Sepo Kena showed great skill when he stopped Fred Ristik:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Kaera FC's Ain Kaarna got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fred Ristik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Ristik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sepo Kena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Lennart Adamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pärnaku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Viikmaa got free with Bruno Pärnaku in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaera FC's Bruno Pärnaku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Adamson in the 24th minute of play. Tauno Vaalma kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The throw-in from Lennart Aasa in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kaera FC's Vahur Vitsut. After a defensive mix-up in Rouge's zone, Tambet Lauter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sepo Kena came out of the goal and Tambet Lauter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Aare Karja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Kaera FC's goalkeeper Bruno Pärnaku had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Viikmaa. Lennart Adamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes in the game, Aare Karja fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Pärnaku having to interfere. Kaera FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Aare Karja scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Pärnaku, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart Adamson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Lennart Adamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pärnaku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kaera FC defense, Gunnar Viikmaa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Pärnaku. The Kaera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Pärnaku should have stopped the shot. Sepo Kena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tambet Lauter, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Fred Ristik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sepo Kena. Rouge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Ristik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ain Kaarna during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Kaera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ain Kaarna to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kaera FC's Vahur Vitsut got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Hardo Põld sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Pärnaku skillfully saved the ball. Tambet Lauter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kaera FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ardo Algaja hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Adamson in the 80th minute of play forced Kaera FC's goalkeeper Bruno Pärnaku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aare Karja fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rouge's protests and gave Aare Karja a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kaera FC booed when Rouge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aare Karja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Rait Klausen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rouge's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
