Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Slawomir Grocholski kicked off to start the match. Priidu Nuiaots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sepo Kena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sepo Kena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Grocholski in the 5th minute of the match. Adolf Kruusamäe scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakob Hiiob, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lennart Adamson's late challenge caught a SK Kura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Adamson helped the player get up and apologised. Lennart Adamson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Illimar Pere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SK Kura booed when Rouge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aare Karja didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Rouge defense, Olav Roht kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sepo Kena. The Rouge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sepo Kena should have stopped the shot. Sepo Kena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Illimar Pere in the 33rd minute of play. SK Kura's Jakob Hiiob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Adamson in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Illimar Pere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sepo Kena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th match minute, Rouge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aare Karja to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, one of SK Kura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Kura. In the 46th minute, Rouge got a penalty, and Hardo Põld placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Illimar Pere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sepo Kena made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Illimar Pere sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Bernhard Karind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rouge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Kura the free kick. The supporters of SK Kura booed when Rouge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernhard Karind didn't get a good kick on the ball. SK Kura's Priidu Nuiaots got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Illimar Pere took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sepo Kena. Sepo Kena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Jakob Hiiob didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolf Kruusamäe went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 76th match minute, SK Kura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asso Ahjupera to maneuver through the defense. Jakob Hiiob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Kruusamäe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Lennart Adamson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jakob Hiiob was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. In the 85thth minute of the game Slawomir Grocholski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rouge's Sepo Kena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Lennart Adamson notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of SK Kura's Jakob Hiiob. Jakob Hiiob was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
