Valga 1860's players were relieved. The supporters of FC Rebel booed when Valga 1860 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endel Vanamets didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Raivo Ratas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Saarnak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Raivo Ratas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Tamberg in the 15th minute of play forced FC Rebel's goalkeeper Kuido Ööpik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raivo Ratas in the 16th minute of play forced Valga 1860's goalkeeper Sten Saarnak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuido Ööpik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Muruaas in the 22nd minute of play. Sten Saarnak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raivo Ratas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valga 1860's goalkeeper Sten Saarnak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valga 1860's Sten Saarnak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raivo Ratas in the 28th minute of play. With his leg Sten Saarnak managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when FC Rebel's Anders Röd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anders Röd let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 33rd minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Raivo Ratas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Saarnak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Hardi Karbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valga 1860's Sten Saarnak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Röd in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Hardi Karbo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Alvar Muruaas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kuido Ööpik was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57th minute Rein Tamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuido Ööpik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvar Muruaas in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Anders Röd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sten Saarnak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raivo Ratas in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvar Muruaas in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuido Ööpik saved FC Rebel from getting behind. Anders Röd scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sten Saarnak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes Aadam Põld shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Sten Saarnak when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Valga 1860's Sten Saarnak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silver Nurk in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Silver Nurk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Sten Saarnak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silver Nurk in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Saarnak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Valga 1860's goal looked a bit too open when Raivo Ratas came free, but Sten Saarnak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Raivo Ratas sped through Valga 1860's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sten Saarnak. FC Rebel made a substitution. Gunnar Alles replaced Raivo Ratas. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Rebel had won after a very even match.
