Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dardanos Papoutsis got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Totolos in the 8th minute of play forced Dhafnotí's goalkeeper Omar Geneix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaggelis Totolos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Geneix having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Dhafnotí's goal looked a bit too open when Dardanos Papoutsis came free, but Omar Geneix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Geneix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Panayiotopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dhafnotí's Omar Geneix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Totolos in the 18th minute of play. Lykos Nikolakakos scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toni Lozano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SL Benfica's zone, Akis Theohari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toni Lozano came out of the goal and Akis Theohari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, Dhafnotí's Priamos Calogerakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toni Lozano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Toni Lozano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Priamos Calogerakis in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Dardanos Papoutsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Geneix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vaggelis Totolos went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Omar Geneix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanasis Panayiotopoulos in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, SL Benfica's Toni Lozano got control of the ball when Lykos Nikolakakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Geneix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanasis Panayiotopoulos in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Priamos Calogerakis made a kick off. Toni Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonidas Rorris, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Dardanos Papoutsis took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Omar Geneix to make any attempt to save it. Dardanos Papoutsis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Omar Geneix made a huge save. Toni Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Priamos Calogerakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of SL Benfica booed when Dhafnotí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicias Skouzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Priamos Calogerakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
