Anorthosis Famagusta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonidas Rorris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Priamos Calogerakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Kapaneus Giannacopulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute Akis Theohari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kapaneus Giannacopulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kapaneus Giannacopulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Priamos Calogerakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Dhafnotí's Priamos Calogerakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kapaneus Giannacopulos. Kapaneus Giannacopulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Lykos Nikolakakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Kapaneus Giannacopulos made a huge save. Kapaneus Giannacopulos stood somewhat misplaced when Lykos Nikolakakos came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. A collision led to Dhafnotí getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Themis Giannopoulos hit a great ball. Omar Geneix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deukalion Pappayiorgas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Sergey Velizarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Geneix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Leonidas Rorris scored 5-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kapaneus Giannacopulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Dhafnotí booed when Anorthosis Famagusta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agix Barraboutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Nicias Skouzas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergey Velizarov made a kick off. Lykos Nikolakakos hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Omar Geneix was a little too slow when Sergey Velizarov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 5-2. Kapaneus Giannacopulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonidas Rorris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Themis Giannopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Themis Giannopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dhafnotí's Omar Geneix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Dhafnotí from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergey Velizarov got free with Omar Geneix in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Dhafnotí's Omar Geneix got control of the ball when Sergey Velizarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lykos Nikolakakos came free, but Kapaneus Giannacopulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Priamos Calogerakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. The tension between the Dhafnotí and the Anorthosis Famagusta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonidas Rorris kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dhafnotí fully deserved thier win.
