Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Burhan Terzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 12th minute of the match Sezgin Genişyürek completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sezgin Genişyürek a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ali Numan Settar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ali Numan Settar struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Aşır Tanpınar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farende. 26 minutes into the game, Farende's Ali Numan Settar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vehdi Sezgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bora Tacal in the 42nd minute of the match. If Burhan Terzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Farende was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlkan Develi to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Burhan Terzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vehdi Sezgi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Burhan Terzi made the kick off in the second half. Burhan Terzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Vehdi Sezgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Burhan Terzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vehdi Sezgi was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Ali Numan Settar took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşır Tanpınar. Aşır Tanpınar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Farende getting a freekick after 96 minutes play.
