Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bedrettin Yücel made the kick off and thus started the match. Lütfü Vefai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute Saadettin Uluman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Vefai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfü Vefai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hürkan Osmanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Karagümrük got a freekick which was hit by Behzat Neşat. Lütfü Vefai came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Karagümrük's Atilla Kutlar. But to his dismay, Atilla Kutlar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 21st minute Behzat Neşat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Vefai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trabzonspor's Lütfü Vefai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Hürkan Osmanoğlu. Muzaffer Erçevik scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lütfü Vefai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lütfü Vefai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Ferdinand in the 30th minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Lütfü Vefai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eralp Kuthan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Bedrettin Yücel took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Hamdullah Gezer to make any attempt to save it. If King Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lütfü Vefai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Ferdinand in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Hürkan Osmanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Behzat Neşat notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Trabzonspor's Lütfü Vefai. Lütfü Vefai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell King Ferdinand to make the kick off. Saadettin Uluman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Lütfü Vefai made a huge save. 52 minutes into the match, Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lütfü Vefai. Trabzonspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. 55 minutes into the match, Behzat Neşat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lütfü Vefai, 1-7. In the 59th minute Behzat Neşat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Vefai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfü Vefai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behzat Neşat in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Atakan Polatalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Karagümrük's King Ferdinand dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. In the 70th minute, Karagümrük's Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. After 73 played minutes Karagümrük got a freekick which was hit by Muzaffer Erçevik. Hamdullah Gezer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hürkan Osmanoğlu in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Arif Kamver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdullah Gezer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes Karagümrük got a freekick which was hit by Eralp Kuthan. Saadettin Uluman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfü Vefai having to interfere. Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lütfü Vefai. Lütfü Vefai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10. 86 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Muzaffer Erçevik came free, but Lütfü Vefai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lütfü Vefai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but King Ferdinand showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-11 in the 88 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Bedrettin Yücel got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Karagümrük left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trabzonspor.
