In the 3rd minute, Cesur Akşin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göktürk Refik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Özgüzeldere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ANKARA SOLO TÜRK the free kick. The supporters of ANKARA SOLO TÜRK booed when Özgüzeldere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in Özgüzeldere's zone, Paşa Tülün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mete Yaslı came out of the goal and Paşa Tülün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Paşa Tülün got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Şevket Gayret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktürk Refik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ANKARA SOLO TÜRK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Şevket Gayret scored to the left of an out of position Göktürk Refik, making the score, 2-1. Göktürk Refik was a little too slow when Şevket Gayret got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Göktürk Refik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şevket Gayret, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Şevket Gayret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şevket Gayret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Refik having to interfere. Göktürk Refik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şevket Gayret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Bayhan Turgut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
