Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Remzi Özil started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toivo Lillemets in the 4th minute of play forced MeRSiN SpOr's goalkeeper Edgar Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When HACİVATAN's Toivo Lillemets in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MeRSiN SpOr's goalie prevented a goal. Neşat Kanat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Edgar Mogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Mogren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toivo Lillemets's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MeRSiN SpOr's zone, Mehmet Ferit Kenan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Mogren came out of the goal and Mehmet Ferit Kenan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toivo Lillemets in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Toivo Lillemets tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgar Mogren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remzi Özil in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samir Timurkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 played minutes MeRSiN SpOr got a freekick which was hit by Remzi Özil. Mehmet Ferit Kenan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The HACİVATAN fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when HACİVATAN's Mehmet Ferit Kenan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Edgar Mogren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Toivo Lillemets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Hafiz Adem's late challenge caught a HACİVATAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Hafiz Adem helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of HACİVATAN booed when MeRSiN SpOr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hafiz Adem didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Toivo Lillemets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edgar Mogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toivo Lillemets in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Mogren saved MeRSiN SpOr from getting behind. Edgar Mogren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toivo Lillemets's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toivo Lillemets to make the kick off. After some careless play in the MeRSiN SpOr defense, Fethi Tanırer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Mogren. The MeRSiN SpOr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Mogren should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Remzi Özil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samir Timurkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes, Ahmet Çağrı Kapkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HACİVATAN and the MeRSiN SpOr players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Toivo Lillemets made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Mogren. MeRSiN SpOr's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ahmet Hafiz Adem hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cüneyd Razi managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeRSiN SpOr's supporters rose to their feet, but Cüneyd Razi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samir Timurkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toivo Lillemets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Mogren having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Toivo Lillemets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Mogren was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Toivo Lillemets sped through MeRSiN SpOr's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Mogren. Toivo Lillemets struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Edgar Mogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HACİVATAN.
