Torul were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after MeRSiN SpOr's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vahit Turaç took the corner. Mutlu Tanırer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Mogren having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remzi Özil in the 13th minute of play forced Torul's goalkeeper Necat İshak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remzi Özil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Necat İshak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgar Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mutlu Tanırer in the 18th minute of the match. When Bahtiyar Safvet fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torul's protests and gave Bahtiyar Safvet a yellow card for diving instead. Bahtiyar Safvet kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Mehmet Şefik Serir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torul's Necat İshak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Torul from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Kandemir Kayrar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bahtiyar Safvet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Mogren. MeRSiN SpOr's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Necat İshak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Maureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remzi Özil to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necat İshak having to interfere. Edgar Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mutlu Tanırer in the 59th minute of play. Necat İshak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remzi Özil, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Mutlu Tanırer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Mogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Torul's Mutlu Tanırer in the 69th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Edgar Mogren was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for MeRSiN SpOr through an amazing save. After some careless play in the Torul defense, Ahmet Hafiz Adem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Necat İshak. The Torul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Necat İshak should have stopped the shot. Yiğit Mustafa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Mogren having to interfere. MeRSiN SpOr's Edgar Mogren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save MeRSiN SpOr from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Şefik Serir got free with Edgar Mogren in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mehmet Şefik Serir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Torul's Mutlu Tanırer in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MeRSiN SpOr's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
