Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erdem Neval started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Erdem Neval put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baybars Urangu. Merzifon's Karhan Şanalp shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Toni Schumacher but with some difficulty. 9 minutes into the game, Çağrı Pektürk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Baybars Urangu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merzifon's Baybars Urangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdem Neval in the 12th minute of play. Baybars Urangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağrı Pektürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Göktürk Ülmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Erdem Neval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurfalıspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Erdem Neval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baybars Urangu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Merzifon's goal looked a bit too open when Erdem Neval came free, but Baybars Urangu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Baybars Urangu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Baybars Urangu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağrı Pektürk in the 31st minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Kurfalıspor's Rogério Quadros made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baybars Urangu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdem Neval in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baybars Urangu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baybars Urangu came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Kurfalıspor's Rogério Quadros. But to his dismay, Rogério Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The audience was convinced that Erdem Neval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baybars Urangu was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Baybars Urangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağrı Pektürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rogério Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baybars Urangu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Nafiz Sebil in the 45th minute of play. The Merzifon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kurfalıspor were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan made the kick off in the second half. Faruk Nafiz Sebil took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baybars Urangu. Baybars Urangu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faruk Nafiz Sebil got free with Baybars Urangu in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erdem Neval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baybars Urangu having to make a save. Erdem Neval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Urangu having to interfere. Çağrı Pektürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baybars Urangu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erdem Neval in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çakır Bengisoy in the 76th minute of play forced Kurfalıspor's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kurfalıspor fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Kurfalıspor's Çağrı Pektürk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st play minute Erdem Neval came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baybars Urangu. 0-9. Baybars Urangu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erdem Neval went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute of the match Cenk Gündem shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toni Schumacher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Merzifon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kurfalıspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
