Gencer Şensals short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Ali Numan Şensoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hacı Ali Yeğiner hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Merzifon's Baybars Urangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Poreda in the 17th minute of play. Şaban Yaşar lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮! The referee gave Merzifon a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karhan Şanalp, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮'s Ali Numan Şensoy. 1-1. Baybars Urangu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮'s Ömür Yağınalp. But to his dismay, Ömür Yağınalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 25 minutes into the game, İdris Oktan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merzifon the free kick. The supporters of Merzifon booed when ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. İdris Oktan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harold Van Boekost struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Baybars Urangu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merzifon's goalkeeper Baybars Urangu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Ahmet Korcan Somer notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Merzifon's Baybars Urangu. Baybars Urangu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 minutes, Patrick Oliver Tanecker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮ and the Merzifon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karhan Şanalp was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Baybars Urangu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Van Boekost in the 38th minute of play. If Harold Van Boekost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Harold Van Boekost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Urangu having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harold Van Boekost stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İdris Oktan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baybars Urangu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Harold Van Boekost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Baybars Urangu made a huge save. Harold Van Boekost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ömür Yağınalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Baybars Urangu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Harold Van Boekost struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Baybars Urangu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮. If Harold Van Boekost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮'s Ömür Yağınalp got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merzifon's Baybars Urangu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Merzifon from getting a goal against them. İdris Oktan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Baybars Urangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Harold Van Boekost got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baybars Urangu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold Van Boekost in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Merzifon's Baybars Urangu got control of the ball when Ömür Yağınalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harold Van Boekost got free with Baybars Urangu in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ömür Yağınalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baybars Urangu was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Ömür Yağınalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over ╭GOW╮╭DEATHWİNGS╮ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Merzifon throughout the match.
