After having played for 40 minutes, Mubarek Al Qattamy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crystal Palace FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mubarek Al Qattamy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luai Al Dekhel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tadcaster City defense, Luai Al Dekhel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of D.J. 黄忠. The Tadcaster City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that D.J. 黄忠 should have stopped the shot. The Tadcaster City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crystal Palace FC were winning 1-2.

In the 93rd minute, Belal Bo Abbas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Tadcaster City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Crystal Palace FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Crystal Palace FC.
