A collision led to Crystal Palace FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Belal Bo Abbas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Shoeburyness City's zone, Luai Al Dekhel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darweesh Dehrab came out of the goal and Luai Al Dekhel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darweesh Dehrab made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Belal Bo Abbas sent off a good shot on target. Fayez Al Mehana struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Oun Al Khames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shoeburyness City. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Habib Al Adsani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shoeburyness City's supporters rose to their feet, but Habib Al Adsani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oun Al Khames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Luai Al Dekhel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Darweesh Dehrab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belal Bo Abbas went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Oun Al Khames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fayez Al Mehana in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Shoeburyness City booed when Crystal Palace FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mubarek Al Qattamy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fayez Al Mehana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oun Al Khames having to interfere. In the 46th minute Luai Al Dekhel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darweesh Dehrab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belal Bo Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Darweesh Dehrab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luai Al Dekhel made the kick off in the second half. Shoeburyness City's Habib Al Adsani got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fayez Al Mehana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mubarek Al Qattamy struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Darweesh Dehrab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crystal Palace FC. Oun Al Khames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fayez Al Mehana in the 77th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Habib Al Adsani couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crystal Palace FC had won after a very even match.
