When Naem Al Habshi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Penistone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naem Al Habshi couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Naem Al Habshi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penistone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Darweesh Dehrab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Othman Al Naqi in the 25th minute of the match. Othman Al Naqi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Darweesh Dehrab made a huge save. A hard shot 27 in the game by Othman Al Naqi from a close distance when the talented Darweesh Dehrab managed to make a qualified save. Shoeburyness City's players were relieved. Othman Al Naqi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darweesh Dehrab having to make a save. With his leg Darweesh Dehrab managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Penistone's Othman Al Naqi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nizar Khaja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darweesh Dehrab having to interfere.

The wind increased when Fayez Al Mehana made the kick off in the second half. Nayef Al Harban's late challenge caught a Penistone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nayef Al Harban helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Nayef Al Harban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Habib Al Adsani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ayoob Taiban was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Othman Al Naqi in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darweesh Dehrab saved Shoeburyness City from getting behind. Ayoob Taiban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Habib Al Adsani went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Othman Al Naqi in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darweesh Dehrab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Othman Al Naqi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darweesh Dehrab was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Othman Al Naqi notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Shoeburyness City's Darweesh Dehrab. Darweesh Dehrab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Shoeburyness City getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
