After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Shaker Al Adsani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shabab Alahli's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaker Al Adsani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fahad Al Besher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Khalaf Al Bloshi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasen Khorshed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ammar Al Khames hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Shaker Al Adsani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Yasen Khorshed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasen Khorshed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar was the one to do the kick off. Real Madrid's Fahad Al Besher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faris Al Besher in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's goal looked a bit too open when Mosa Al Sallal came free, but Khalaf Al Bloshi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mosa Al Sallal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shabab Alahli's Khalaf Al Bloshi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Shabab Alahli from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ammar Al Khames during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Shaker Al Adsani came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Shabab Alahli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaker Al Adsani couldn't finish the play. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Mosa Al Sallal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Khalaf Al Bloshi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mosa Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
