In the 47th minute Shimshon Okshi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahalon Romm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shimshon Okshi to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Balfouriyya's Tzedkiyahu Goldfinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Gefen in the 51st minute of play. Grofit's Shalev Noyman got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeelon Tuviah kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With his leg Yahalon Romm managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when SC Balfouriyya's Jedd Jacobs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jedd Jacobs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Yahalon Romm made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grofit fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Balfouriyya had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
