After a rather tough play, Samux AŞ's Länkäran Äşräfov got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 13th minute, Länkäran Äşräfov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qurban Äsädli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Länkäran Äşräfov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qurban Äsädli having to interfere. Länkäran Äşräfov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Yelmar Cäbrayilov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SazobaSpor booed when Samux AŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yelmar Cäbrayilov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Länkäran Äşräfov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qurban Äsädli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolunay Hüdayioğlu's late challenge caught a SazobaSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolunay Hüdayioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Samux AŞ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! SazobaSpor's Qurban Äsädli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yelmar Cäbrayilov in the 39th minute of play. Qurban Äsädli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taleh Yolçiyev in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çärkäz Cavanşirov got free with Cahangir Nadirov in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Elburus Bändäliyev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cahangir Nadirov, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Länkäran Äşräfov to make the kick off. Yelmar Cäbrayilov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Qurban Äsädli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Länkäran Äşräfov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Länkäran Äşräfov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qurban Äsädli having to interfere. In the 56th minute, one of Samux AŞ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Samux AŞ. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for SazobaSpor. Surxay Sälimov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cahangir Nadirov. 3-1. In the 62nd match minute, Samux AŞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şofiq Äsädli to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Şofiq Äsädli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Qurban Äsädli, 3-2. Samux AŞ's Cahangir Nadirov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çärkäz Cavanşirov in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the SazobaSpor defense, Länkäran Äşräfov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qurban Äsädli. The SazobaSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qurban Äsädli should have stopped the shot. Cahangir Nadirov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Älirza Azamämmädov in the 79th minute of play. Yelmar Cäbrayilov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qurban Äsädli having to interfere. Elburus Bändäliyev charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elburus Bändäliyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SazobaSpor's Çärkäz Cavanşirov got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behlül Ünlüsoy during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Samux AŞ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SazobaSpor:s goal. The excitement rose when SazobaSpor's Surxay Sälimov after 94 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Samux AŞ's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 4-3. Thanks to some nice moves Länkäran Äşräfov could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Qurban Äsädli however easily saved by the left post. After 99 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SazobaSpor! Samux AŞ succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SazobaSpor had controlled the match.
