Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natiq Bäyazov kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Abşeron booed when Samux AŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusif Teymurov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Näbi Ocaqverdiyev in the 6th minute of play forced Samux AŞ's goalkeeper Cahangir Nadirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natiq Bäyazov scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cahangir Nadirov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 played minutes Abşeron got a freekick which was hit by Sabir Älibalalı. Länkäran Äşräfov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahib Nağiyev having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Samux AŞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şofiq Äsädli to maneuver through the defense. Yusif Teymurov charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yusif Teymurov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Samux AŞ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Yusif Teymurov hit a great ball. Natiq Bäyazov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cahangir Nadirov having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Abşeron's goal looked a bit too open when Yelmar Cäbrayilov came free, but Rahib Nağiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Abşeron's Näbi Ocaqverdiyev got a free kick in the 21st minute. 30 minutes into the game, Abşeron's Äli Omarov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cahangir Nadirov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Länkäran Äşräfov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Rahib Nağiyev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Natiq Bäyazov notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Samux AŞ's Cahangir Nadirov. Cahangir Nadirov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rahib Nağiyev came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Samux AŞ's Länkäran Äşräfov. But to his dismay, Länkäran Äşräfov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Rahib Nağiyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yelmar Cäbrayilov, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Rahib Nağiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yelmar Cäbrayilov in the 53rd minute of play. Samux AŞ were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Abşeron's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yelmar Cäbrayilov took the corner. In the 56th minute, Sabir Orxanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Länkäran Äşräfov in the 66th minute of play forced Abşeron's goalkeeper Rahib Nağiyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Länkäran Äşräfov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahib Nağiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siyavuş Baxışov's late challenge caught a Samux AŞ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siyavuş Baxışov helped the player get up and apologised. Siyavuş Baxışov hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cahangir Nadirov made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Äli Omarov sent off a good shot on target. Yelmar Cäbrayilov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rahib Nağiyev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rahib Nağiyev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Länkäran Äşräfov's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Abşeron's goal looked a bit too open when Länkäran Äşräfov came free, but Rahib Nağiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Länkäran Äşräfov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abşeron's Rahib Nağiyev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute Äli Omarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cahangir Nadirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Äli Omarov could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Cahangir Nadirov however easily saved by the left post. Taleh Yolçiyev kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Natiq Bäyazov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cahangir Nadirov having to interfere. Sabir Älibalalı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cahangir Nadirov made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Äli Omarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cahangir Nadirov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The Abşeron supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Abşeron would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
