In the 21st minute, Anandaprada Kaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abhisneha Parab charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abhisneha Parab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lytham's Abhisneha Parab got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Govindarajan Chahil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balachandar Dasgupta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeman Venkataramanappa to strike the kick off in the second half. Anandaprada Kaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The penalty shot was made by Debaprosad Dev, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lytham's Balachandar Dasgupta. 2-1. Lytham's Balachandar Dasgupta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Govindarajan Chahil in the 95th minute of play. Internet Explorer's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
