Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lytham's Balachandar Dasgupta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anandaprada Kaur in the 31st minute of play. Abhay Bajwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balachandar Dasgupta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Govindarajan Chahil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dhyanesa Malhan charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dhyanesa Malhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Lytham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhyanesa Malhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Debaprosad Dev sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lytham's Balachandar Dasgupta didn't even have to move. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Govindarajan Chahil got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anandaprada Kaur in the 81st minute of play forced Lytham's goalkeeper Balachandar Dasgupta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anandaprada Kaur in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Balachandar Dasgupta saved Lytham from getting behind. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Internet Explorer's goalkeeper Dheeraj Grewal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anandaprada Kaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balachandar Dasgupta having to interfere. Internet Explorer's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
