In the 5th minute, Mehmet Hakkı Yalaza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Koranop Buntee. The goal made the score 1-0. When Thanawat Wastanagoun came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Red Star FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanawat Wastanagoun couldn't finish the play. Thanawat Wastanagoun took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Koranop Buntee. Koranop Buntee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 16th minute of the match, Kenneth Blackham got a very nice opportunity to score, but Koranop Buntee was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Blackham in the 19th minute of play forced Ban Dong Prakham's goalkeeper Koranop Buntee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koranop Buntee was a little too slow when Thanawat Wastanagoun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. Koranop Buntee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Blackham in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Kittipoj Soiyodthong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kang Bin Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tawagrit Waiyarup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Red Star FC's Kang Bin Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tawagrit Waiyarup in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red Star FC's Thanawat Wastanagoun got a free kick in the 34th minute. Torn Jamroen took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kang Bin Jun. Kang Bin Jun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Thanawat Wastanagoun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Koranop Buntee when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kang Bin Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tawagrit Waiyarup, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Kenneth Blackham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koranop Buntee having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kittipoj Soiyodthong made a kick off. Phitsanu Tongou kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Koranop Buntee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanawat Wastanagoun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Kittipoj Soiyodthong took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Kang Bin Jun to make any attempt to save it. Ban Dong Prakham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Red Star FC's Kang Bin Jun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Red Star FC from getting a goal against them. Tawagrit Waiyarup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Kang Bin Jun made a huge save. Red Star FC's Kang Bin Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kittipoj Soiyodthong in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Ban Dong Prakham got a freekick which was hit by Tavan Nontachat. When the referee ended the match the Red Star FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
