Mark Chian started the match with the kick off. Alexander Sum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mujahid Sim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mujahid Sim in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Sum saved NFH Family United from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Mujahid Sim put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alexander Sum. Alexander Sum came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Woodmancote United's Jonathan Soon. But to his dismay, Jonathan Soon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mujahid Sim in the 10th minute of play. Mark Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Mujahid Sim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alexander Sum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Chai hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Soon came free, but Alexander Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Sajeev Au made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Sum. NFH Family United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, Mujahid Sim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Sum. NFH Family United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mujahid Sim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. A collision led to Woodmancote United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Amir Teo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Chian in the 37th minute of play forced Woodmancote United's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sajeev Au in the 38th minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Sajeev Au managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodmancote United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sajeev Au was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Woodmancote United's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Chian came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Au kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Jonathan Soon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Sum. NFH Family United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Soon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mujahid Sim to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Sajeev Au took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Alexander Sum to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th minute, Mark Chian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mujahid Sim in the 57th minute of play. Jonathan Soon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Woodmancote United were awarded a corner. Alex Chai went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of NFH Family United's goalie and right to Jonathan Soon. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. NFH Family United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. He walked away shaking his head. With a little luck, NFH Family United's Alexander Sum got control of the ball when Daniel Siang tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 96th play minutes Hidayat Chuan shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Alexander Sum and just under the crossbar into goal. Woodmancote United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
