Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Handley Boylin made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Handley Boylin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Brombin's James Jeffress. James Jeffress was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grant Gummow hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. EVATT's Roger Weeks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrance Dearn in the 14th minute of play. Randolph Pfingst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Jeffress having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Brombin got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Babbage. Lawrance Dearn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Weeks having to make a save. After 30 minutes, Richard Rowden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EVATT and the Brombin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Richard Rowden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Randolph Pfingst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Randolph Pfingst managed to get in a good position for a shot. EVATT's supporters rose to their feet, but Randolph Pfingst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Jeffress breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Randolph Pfingst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Handley Boylin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lawrance Dearn to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Brombin's goalkeeper James Jeffress had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randolph Pfingst. A collision led to Brombin getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kale Hunter hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, EVATT's Myles Trevena tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Roger Weeks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrance Dearn in the 62nd minute of play. James Jeffress came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by EVATT's Randolph Pfingst. But to his dismay, Randolph Pfingst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Randolph Pfingst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but James Jeffress made a huge save. Handley Boylin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Jeffress having to interfere. Randolph Pfingst let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 80th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. 84 minutes into the match, EVATT's goal looked a bit too open when Lawrance Dearn came free, but Roger Weeks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. EVATT's Roger Weeks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrance Dearn in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Locke in the 89th minute of play forced EVATT's goalkeeper Roger Weeks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Gummow charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grant Gummow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. EVATT's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
