Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lawrance Dearn started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Carani's Peter Ramsay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Jeffress made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Brombin's zone, Brock Conlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Jeffress came out of the goal and Brock Conlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. James Jeffress took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Conlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Ramsay in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck James Jeffress prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Peter Ramsay notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Brombin's James Jeffress. James Jeffress was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Lawrance Dearn came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Brombin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lawrance Dearn couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Peter Ramsay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carani's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Ramsay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Jeffress breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Ramsay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. James Jeffress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peter Ramsay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Peter Ramsay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Brock Conlan put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of James Jeffress. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brock Conlan in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck James Jeffress prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Peter Ramsay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Jeffress saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Lawrance Dearn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrance Dearn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lawrance Dearn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Andrews Mcvey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brock Conlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but James Jeffress read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Carani got a freekick which was hit by Tiger Sugden. After 71 minutes, Kale Hunter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brombin and the Carani players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kale Hunter kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Brombin's James Jeffress proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Brombin from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrance Dearn in the 75th minute of play forced Carani's goalkeeper Andrews Mcvey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carani's zone, Lawrance Dearn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrews Mcvey came out of the goal and Lawrance Dearn tried to chip the ball over his head. Andrews Mcvey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Carani players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
