Randolph Hunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bern Pearss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Burt Blattman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 18 minutes into the game, Benney Krause was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grimulators's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Devils United the free kick. A collision led to Grimulators getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Benney Krause hit a great ball. Bern Pears succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobs Gracey in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burt Blattman saved Grimulators from getting behind. Burt Blattman was a little too slow when Randolph Hunn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. Bern Pears who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Burt Blattman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Burt Blattman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Grimulators's Burt Blattman got control of the ball when Jacobs Gracey tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Grimulators's goalkeeper Burt Blattman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burt Blattman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bern Pears, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Roy Mudie kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Grimulators defense, Bern Pears kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Burt Blattman. The Grimulators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Burt Blattman should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Grimulators's zone, Randolph Hunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burt Blattman came out of the goal and Randolph Hunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Red Devils United's Bern Pears nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burt Blattman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 78 minutes into the game, Antonio Addison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grimulators's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Arkinstall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Bern Pears struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Burt Blattman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils United. 89 minutes into the match, Randolph Hunn notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Grimulators's Burt Blattman. Burt Blattman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Red Devils United fully deserved thier win.
