The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bern Pears sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pet Circke's Cullen Playford got control of the ball when Bern Pears tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Pet Circke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buck Missen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bern Pears got free with Cullen Playford in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Archie Clubley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Quincy Pears managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pet Circke's supporters rose to their feet, but Quincy Pears was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barnes Hunter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 minutes of play, Red Devils United's Bern Pears made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cullen Playford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pet Circke's Cullen Playford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randolph Hunn in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute, Randolph Hunn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cullen Playford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randolph Hunn in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Raymond James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Playford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Red Devils United got a freekick which was hit by Archie Clubley. The audience was convinced that Carlton Rhoades's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barnes Hunter was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The Pet Circke fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Pet Circke's Carlton Rhoades looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Randolph Hunn in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cullen Playford saved Pet Circke from getting behind. Pet Circke's Cullen Playford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Pet Circke from getting a goal against them. If Randolph Hunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Pet Circke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Pears to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play, Red Devils United's Bern Pears made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cullen Playford was left in no man's land by his defense there!
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlton Rhoades to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Roy Mudie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Playford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raymond James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neal Wittber kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Randolph Hunn came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Red Devils United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randolph Hunn couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Raymond James cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Cullen Playford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Pet Circke's Blake Arkinstall got a free kick in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Pet Circke's goal looked a bit too open when Bern Pears came free, but Cullen Playford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Roy Mudie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cullen Playford was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 74th minute Carlton Rhoades shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnes Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bern Pears received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cullen Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Bruno Arkinstall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pet Circke's Cullen Playford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randolph Hunn in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Jacobs Gracey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cullen Playford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randolph Hunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Barnes Hunter made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jagger Fynn sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Red Devils United had played much better football throughout.
