Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when James Hodge got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Boyde Renny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iggi Wakefield was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After 4 minutes of play, Springsure FC's Conner Perrett made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iggi Wakefield was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the game, Springsure FC's Boyde Renny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iggi Wakefield made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Boyde Renny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iggi Wakefield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conner Perrett in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Boyde Renny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iggi Wakefield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyde Renny in the 20th minute of play forced Laugi's goalkeeper Iggi Wakefield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laugi's Iggi Wakefield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellis Hoskin in the 25th minute of play. Iggi Wakefield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellis Hoskin in the 27th minute of play. Nick Mcgregor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Hodge in the 38th minute of play. Laugi were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Springsure FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. James Hodge took the corner. After taking down the ball on Laugi's corner James Hodge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nick Mcgregor quite easily take care of the ball. Boyde Renny took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iggi Wakefield. Iggi Wakefield dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Iggi Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellis Hoskin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Reese Czaczka made a precise shot to the right of Iggi Wakefield. Laugi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ellis Hoskin made a kick off. Ellis Hoskin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Iggi Wakefield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyde Renny in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Laugi defense, Conner Perrett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iggi Wakefield. The Laugi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iggi Wakefield should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Laugi's zone, Boyde Renny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iggi Wakefield came out of the goal and Boyde Renny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When James Hodge fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laugi's protests and gave James Hodge a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Laugi's James Hodge got a free kick in the 69th minute. Iggi Wakefield was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bevis Stafford. Andre Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Laugi getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Andre Lucas hit a great ball. Laugi's Iggi Wakefield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Laugi from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Laugi's Iggi Wakefield got control of the ball when Conner Perrett tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Laugi's goalkeeper Iggi Wakefield had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boyde Renny. After a defensive mix-up in Laugi's zone, Boyde Renny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iggi Wakefield came out of the goal and Boyde Renny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Andre Lucas had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Conner Perrett kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Conner Perrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iggi Wakefield having to interfere. Springsure FC played a much better game than Laugi and deserved their victory. The Laugi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
