Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eddy Willison started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Iggi Wakefield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Willison in the 4th minute of play. Iggi Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliot Foley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yellourn FC's Iggi Wakefield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliot Foley in the 7th minute of play. Ike Cubit kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Murphy Greenan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iggi Wakefield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Murphy Greenan made a precise shot to the right of Iggi Wakefield. Yellourn FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Iggi Wakefield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Oshea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Inamotos's Irwin Stevens got control of the ball when Barnes Haskell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barnes Haskell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Irwin Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iggi Wakefield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murphy Greenan in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Inamotos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Barnes Haskell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Irwin Stevens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnes Haskell in the 36th minute. After 44 played minutes Yellourn FC got a freekick which was hit by Ike Cubit.

With a little luck, Yellourn FC's Iggi Wakefield got control of the ball when Murphy Greenan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Barnes Haskell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barnes Haskell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irwin Stevens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Yellourn FC's Barnes Haskell made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irwin Stevens was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th match minute, Inamotos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Oshea to maneuver through the defense. Iggi Wakefield was a little too slow when Eliot Foley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Inamotos's Ryan Oshea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iggi Wakefield. Iggi Wakefield yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 88th minute, Murphy Greenan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iggi Wakefield. The goal made the score 1-6. The Yellourn FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Inamotos's performance. The match ended with a win for Inamotos.
