The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante King got free with Loud Awage in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante King in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loud Awage, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Loud Awage managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Melbourne 007's Brye Awage fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante King scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loud Awage, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudy Gummow in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loud Awage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralph Mccartan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Loud Awage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Gummow in the 34th minute of the match. Alexander Notley charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abbott Sylvester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loud Awage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Gummow in the 63rd minute of play. When Dante King came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Melbourne 007 fans jumped to their feet.
