Spectators: 8775 (Terracing: 6500, Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 175) An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Manuel in the 4th minute of play forced Thoona's goalkeeper Petre Dimofte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ignacio Manuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thoona's Petre Dimofte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Thoona from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Manuel in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Dimofte saved Thoona from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Biddle Beer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petre Dimofte made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ignacio Manuel sent off a good shot on target. If Ignacio Manuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Canobolas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Payton Tinsley hit a great ball. If Biddle Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burns Pegrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Mcvey having to interfere. Adolfo Mcvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Callaghan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Canobolas defense, Angelo Callaghan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Mcvey. The Canobolas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Mcvey should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Callaghan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Ignacio Manuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thoona's Petre Dimofte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Canobolas's Payton Tinsley got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Biddle Beer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mcvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Canobolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stepan Krymov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Thoona booed when Canobolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stepan Krymov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes Canobolas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Biddle Beer who took care of the corner kick. Stepan Krymov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petre Dimofte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Manuel's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes Thoona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ignacio Manuel who took care of the corner kick. If Biddle Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes of play, Canobolas's Adam Neich made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petre Dimofte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adolfo Mcvey made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Herman Wall sent off a good shot on target. Herman Wall succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 92nd playminute. Although Canobolas had been in control for most of the match, Thoona still came away with the win.
