Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 175) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adam Neich took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adolfo Mcvey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jervis Tresise in the 2nd minute of play. Barnabas Hanslow's late challenge caught a Stratton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnabas Hanslow helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stratton FC booed when Canobolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabas Hanslow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Mcvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Sacchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Jervis Tresise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mcvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Stratton FC were awarded a corner. Brynn Andrews went to the cornerflag to take it. Alessandro Sacchi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Lawrance See made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Manuel in the 11th minute of play. Lawrance See took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabas Hanslow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Canobolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Payton Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. Payton Tinsley hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jaffery Tarrant kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Lawrance See made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stepan Krymov in the 22nd minute of play. Jervis Tresise took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Mcvey. Adolfo Mcvey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Jervis Tresise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jervis Tresise in the 31st minute of play forced Canobolas's goalkeeper Adolfo Mcvey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Canobolas booed when Stratton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Paraschivescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Mcvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jervis Tresise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Stratton FC's Alberto Sinden got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stepan Krymov got free with Lawrance See in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jervis Tresise fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stratton FC's protests and gave Jervis Tresise a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Stratton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jervis Tresise to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Sacchi was the one to do the kick off. With 53 minutes on the clock, Fulgencio Quintana commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Alessandro Sacchi took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Adolfo Mcvey to make any attempt to save it. Lawrance See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Neich, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Payton Tinsley kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Stratton FC's Matt Sanderson was substituted for Brynn Andrews. A collision led to Canobolas getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Payton Tinsley hit a great ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Stratton FC's Jervis Tresise in the 80th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Adolfo Mcvey was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Canobolas through an amazing save. Stratton FC made a substitution. Jared Wivell replaced Jens Sundström. The supporters of Stratton FC booed when Canobolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Payton Tinsley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Sacchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Mcvey having to interfere. Stratton FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
