Academia Rio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radu Păvăloae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Azure Meadow came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Thorax in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Arty Eightman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Cordu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gigel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azure Meadow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Clue Team Challenge 2024 got a corner. Academia Rio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robby The Rancher ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 26 played minutes Clue Team Challenge 2024 got a freekick which was hit by Roy Cordu. Gigel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Cordu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Azure Meadow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Tilea was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rdth minute of the game Arty Eightman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gigel Coidum kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Jean Oltean. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby The Rancher, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Clue Team Challenge 2024's Roy Cordu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigel Tilea was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Arty Eightman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Denis Bratiloveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Arty Eightman came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Clue Team Challenge 2024 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Clue Team Challenge 2024 made a substitution. Manny Mills replaced Roy Cordu. Manny Mills could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Gigel Tilea made a huge save. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manny Mills in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Clue Team Challenge 2024's Arty Eightman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Clue Team Challenge 2024 made a substitution. Snoop Fiddlefaddle replaced Diego Goalzalez. Thanks to some nice moves Azure Meadow could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Gigel Tilea however easily saved by the left post. O. M. G. DaRush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Coidum in the 68th minute of the match. O. M. G. Gigel Tilea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Alex Nicolae charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Nicolae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Nicolae kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manny Mills in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Fiat in the 85th minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Petriceanu to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Tilea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Fiat's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azure Meadow in the 90th minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Fiat, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Joaquin Fiat tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gigel Tilea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Gigel Tilea managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Clue Team Challenge 2024's Azure Meadow fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Clue Team Challenge 2024 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia Rio.
