Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC MeHigh's Dan Braru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Academia Rio's Adrian Blănaru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nichifor Geangu, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Horia Ţintea came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Rio's Radu Păvăloae. But to his dismay, Radu Păvăloae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 9th minute Leontin Iorgovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Iorgovan in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergiu Coșeriu during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Petrescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Dan Braru made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Horia Ţintea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Păvăloae in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Cojan came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MeHigh's Leontin Iorgovan. But to his dismay, Leontin Iorgovan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Braru in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Blănaru. Horia Ţintea made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Sergiu Coșeriu sent off a good shot on target. Gigel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Braru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Păvăloae in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horia Ţintea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Leontin Iorgovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MeHigh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergiu Coșeriu to make the kick off. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Braru in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Rio's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergiu Coșeriu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horia Ţintea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Iacob Necșulescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gigel Tilea. The goal made the score 1-4. Horia Ţintea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Horia Ţintea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radu Păvăloae's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Horia Ţintea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC MeHigh's Horia Ţintea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Păvăloae in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radu Păvăloae in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horia Ţintea saved FC MeHigh from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Coșeriu came free, but Horia Ţintea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Cojan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Gigel Tilea made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Blănaru during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC MeHigh's Irinel Postelnicu was substituted for Leontin Iorgovan. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Academia Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Blănaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Dan Braru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Postelnicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gigel Tilea made a huge save. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Braru, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergiu Coșeriu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horia Ţintea saved FC MeHigh from getting behind. When the match was over FC MeHigh could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Academia Rio throughout the match.
