KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arty Eightman in the 11th minute of play. Azure Meadow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Louis Van Bever having to interfere. Clue Team Challenge 2024's O. M. G. DaRush proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Clue Team Challenge 2024 from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute of the match KFC Cromvelde got a corner. Clue Team Challenge 2024's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dé 武松 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on KFC Cromvelde's corner Dé 武松 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and O. M. G. DaRush quite easily take care of the ball. Clue Team Challenge 2024's Manny Mills was substituted for Roy Cordu. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clue Team Challenge 2024's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dé 武松 was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Cromvelde's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathijs Rokeloos to strike the kick off in the second half. Clue Team Challenge 2024's O. M. G. In the 59thth minute of the game Arty Eightman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. M. G. DaRush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. O. M. G. DaRush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 82nd minute of play. Azure Meadow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Louis Van Bever having to interfere. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Fiat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Cromvelde's zone, Joaquin Fiat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Louis Van Bever came out of the goal and Joaquin Fiat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Clue Team Challenge 2024 booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijs Rokeloos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, KFC Cromvelde could leave the field as winners, despite Clue Team Challenge 2024 having more of the ball for most of the match.
