KFC Cromvelde were furious when Joel Barcelos was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KFC Cromvelde! Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from La 雷锋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the KFC Cromvelde defense, Bartolo Buinton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever. The KFC Cromvelde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Louis Van Bever should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, KFC Cromvelde's Henry Åkesson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wambasther Casillas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathijs Rokeloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Wambasther Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Buinton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Louis Van Bever read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes KFC Cromvelde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was La 雷锋 who took care of the corner kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Jânio Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Cromvelde's zone, La 雷锋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Louis Van Bever came out of the goal and La 雷锋 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wambasther Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Shark FC - FSCMZ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathijs Rokeloos to make the kick off. Bartolo Buinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Buinton in the 54th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Cromvelde's Celedonio Isidor was substituted for Cosmin Contra. Shark FC - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jânio Loureiro in the 78th minute. The corner led Shark FC - FSCMZ's Carter Scudieri to fire away a dangerous shot which Jean-Louis Van Bever despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Jânio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shark FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jânio Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Wauters came free, but Wambasther Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Shark FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jânio Loureiro hit a great ball. Ghiţă Popescu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Dé 武松 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wambasther Casillas skillfully saved the ball.
