Club Atletico Los Andes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CoDeS the free kick. 16 minutes into the match, CoDeS's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul came free, but Filiberto Sanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nana Lider was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evelio Hever showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 32 minute of play. After 35 minutes, Guaberto Brun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CoDeS and the Club Atletico Los Andes players grew even worse after the yellow card.
