After 8 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Americo Panfilo. In the 14th minute Sergio Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nana Lider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Larpe came free, but Nana Lider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of North of California:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Los Andes:s goal. Leonel Farias shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Efrain Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Nana Lider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's 徐文枫 got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Leandro Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Caneças in the 41st minute of the match. Club Atletico Los Andes's Americo Panfilo got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Americo Panfilo off the ground. Americo Panfilo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Gaxan made a kick off. Urbano Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Nunes in the 52nd minute of play. Leandro Haritzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Pacorro during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvestre Pacorro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With his leg Nana Lider managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when North of California's Leandro Haritzeder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 71 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Nunes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Gaxan in the 78th minute of play forced North of California's goalkeeper Urbano Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Caneças in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Havier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Carlos Caneças put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urbano Havier. North of California's Urbano Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Caneças in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, North of California's Efrain Jerrald got a free kick in the 95th minute.
