After some careless play in the Yucatan F.C. defense, Feliciano Dimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Lauaxeta. The Yucatan F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot. Tobias Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Oton in the 5th minute of play. Honorio Chico hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Tobias Lauaxeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Oton's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Tobias Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Chabier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. Bruno Opilano charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Opilano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Oton came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tobias Lauaxeta could save by the left post. In the 25th minute of the match, David Oton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tobias Lauaxeta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tobias Lauaxeta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feliciano Dimo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 26 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Feliciano Dimo took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Tobias Lauaxeta to make any attempt to save it. If Feliciano Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Oton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tobias Lauaxeta made a huge save. David Oton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tobias Lauaxeta firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Dimo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Lauaxeta saved Yucatan F.C. from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Guaberto Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Franco to make the kick off. When Feliciano Dimo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Vampiros Aztecas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Dimo couldn't finish the play. If Feliciano Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Dimo came free, but Tobias Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Roque Gurutz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Lauaxeta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tobias Lauaxeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Dimo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 64th match minute, Yucatan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Opilano to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, Vampiros Aztecas's David Oton made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Lauaxeta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 minutes, David Oton made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Yucatan F.C.'s Tobias Lauaxeta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when Yucatan F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yucatan F.C.'s goalkeeper Tobias Lauaxeta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tobias Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Dimo in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Feliciano Dimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vampiros Aztecas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Tobias Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Oton struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tobias Lauaxeta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiros Aztecas. Vampiros Aztecas's Feliciano Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vampiros Aztecas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
