When Nicu Bulă fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Gloria Sieu's protests and gave Nicu Bulă a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CF Gloria Sieu's Nicu Bulă got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, FC Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Capătă came free, but Constantin Mudura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Mudura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Stănilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Vaslui's Avram Râznicu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Liviu Ciuvică. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, CF Gloria Sieu's Gabriel Matei got a free kick in the 14th minute. CF Gloria Sieu's Liviu Ciuvică played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Râznicu in the 19th minute of play. Constantin Mudura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Iovanovici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, FC Vaslui's Avram Râznicu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Liviu Ciuvică. Liviu Ciuvică yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigi Iovanovici in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantin Mudura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michiel Vleminx got free with Liviu Ciuvică in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Liviu Ciuvică successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Michiel Vleminx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Liviu Ciuvică made a huge save. Constantin Mudura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Stănilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Constantin Mudura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Iovanovici in the 39th minute of play. Adam Potopea kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Hugon Wierzcholek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Vaslui made a substitution. Franciszek Lerych replaced Michiel Vleminx. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigi Iovanovici stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CF Gloria Sieu getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hugon Wierzcholek hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, CF Gloria Sieu's goal looked a bit too open when Franciszek Lerych came free, but Liviu Ciuvică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, FC Vaslui's Panait Agachi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liviu Ciuvică was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Lerych in the 59th minute of play forced CF Gloria Sieu's goalkeeper Liviu Ciuvică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Franciszek Lerych got free in front of the goal in the 60th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Liviu Ciuvică was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Constantin Mudura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Stănilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Panait Agachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Ciuvică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Vaslui's Constantin Mudura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC Vaslui from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Panait Agachi made a precise shot to the right of Liviu Ciuvică. CF Gloria Sieu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
