Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nayef Bo Abbas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th match minute, U21 Kuwait was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wael Al Mulaifi to maneuver through the defense. Simon Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Osasun in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemir Al Homaithe saved U21 Kuwait from getting behind. Erland Möllgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Nayef Bo Abbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Etxepare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Oscar Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papillon AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Papillon AC's Erland Möllgren in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Kuwait's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of U21 Kuwait booed when Papillon AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Urki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Erland Möllgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papillon AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Möllgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nayef Bo Abbas in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Mortada Al Fadhalah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Kuwait and the Papillon AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, U21 Kuwait was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mortada Al Fadhalah to maneuver through the defense. U21 Kuwait's attentive Hamed Al Sayer managed to snatch the ball when Simon Osasun made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Taqi Shadad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Oscar Urki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemir Al Homaithe. U21 Kuwait's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Urki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erland Möllgren made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Victoriano Mikelats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papillon AC and the U21 Kuwait players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute of the match Wael Al Mulaifi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Etxepare skillfully saved the ball. Bruno Etxepare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nayef Bo Abbas in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes U21 Kuwait got a freekick which was hit by Mortada Al Fadhalah. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Valente in the 66th minute of play forced U21 Kuwait's goalkeeper Nemir Al Homaithe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Urki to maneuver through the defense. Taqi Shadad struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Bruno Etxepare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Kuwait. The supporters of U21 Kuwait booed when Papillon AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Möllgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Möllgren to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Etxepare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nayef Bo Abbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Kuwait's Nemir Al Homaithe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Valente in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Papillon AC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
