Lykaon Belesis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ni Guang Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Øverland came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinhote FC's Sílvio Luís Ceresso. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luís Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Rosen came free, but Tobias Øverland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Aglauros Sakellariou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Guang Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes APOELHELLAS got a freekick which was hit by Makareus Poulakis. Michel Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ni Guang Yong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Timmie Nyemanting tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tobias Øverland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute of the match Pinhote FC got a corner. APOELHELLAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pinhote FC's Waldemar Rosen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tobias Øverland in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Santos in the 57th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Ni Guang Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Øverland made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Waldemar Rosen sent off a good shot on target. Ni Guang Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Santos in the 64th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Ceresso. After some careless play in the Pinhote FC defense, 刘战弘 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ni Guang Yong. The Pinhote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ni Guang Yong should have stopped the shot.
