A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alto Muro hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match, Edson de Lima got a very nice opportunity to score, but Walmir Catarinense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Almir de Barros got a free kick in the 8th minute. Walmir Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Andy Cole sent off a good shot on target. Andy Cole in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walmir Catarinense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 16th minute of play. If Andy Cole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andy Cole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Walmir Catarinense made a huge save. If Lokon Pøhl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zézinho Coutinho in the 42nd minute. Álvaro Sergipano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After the first half ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Cole to make the kick off. Floresta Negra FC's Alto Muro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Portillo in the 51 minute of the game. Andy Cole scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmir Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Cole in the 57th minute of play. Egun Pais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Ruben in the 59th minute. The ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Catarinense should have stopped the shot. Floresta Negra FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ for a fine match.
