A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Clemente Moura hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Pereira made the kick off in the second half. When Ezequiel Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Lobo Guará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Pereira couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Andy Cole sped through Lobo Guará's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Anaya. Gernando Rocha hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When Gernando Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floresta Negra FC's protests and gave Gernando Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Rocha. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
