An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Incendio in the 28th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Tito Bonano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stepan Eshtrekov in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Torres saved INTER de Córdoba from getting behind. When Ruperto Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the INTER de Córdoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Incendio couldn't finish the play. Achtung Babies were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after INTER de Córdoba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chineze Robben took the corner. In the 41st match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Majczyk to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stepan Eshtrekov in the 47th minute of play. Stepan Eshtrekov got in the 47th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Santiago Torres handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Stepan Eshtrekov made the kick off in the second half. INTER de Córdoba's Santiago Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stepan Eshtrekov in the 51st minute of play. Ruperto Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Santiago Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Transito, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Santiago Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match Achtung Babies got a corner. INTER de Córdoba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chineze Robben ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Chineze Robben almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but INTER de Córdoba's Santiago Torres did a great save. In the 95th minute, Mateo Transito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Achtung Babies could leave the field as winners, despite INTER de Córdoba having more of the ball for most of the match.
