Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raphael Donato started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Mazza got free with Váldson de Queirós in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualter Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Váldson de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ. Maicon Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Téo de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Diniz in the 17th minute of the match. Téo de Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Váldson de Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Téo de Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. Osvaldo dos Santos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras's Nilmar Faria. But to his dismay, Nilmar Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Téo de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Váldson de Queirós made a huge save. Osvaldo dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Váldson de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Mazza in the 32nd minute. Dorian Neves hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Téo de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Mazza came free, but Váldson de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Palmeiras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Téo de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian Neves during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilmar Faria in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo dos Santos saved THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ from getting behind. Maicon Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Paulo Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. When Luís Fábio Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Luís Fábio Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Fábio Diniz hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Palmeiras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ.
